The Texaco Young Musician of Wales competition has been running since 1988 and provides a platform for talented young Welsh musicians to achieve their full potential.

Run in conjunction with Côr Meibion De Cymru - the South Wales male choir - this biennial competition sees some 90 musicians compete in regional heats and quarter finals for five places in the final.

Texaco School Festivals. Some 580 junior school-aged pupils and up to 600 senior pupils perform in two concerts as part of the Texaco Music Festival.
